I enjoyed this class a lot and also learned a lot. There were some assignments that were very challenging to me and others that were not so much. That is how everything is though. You might find some things to be harder for you while you find other things to come with ease.
The Wiki assignment was not my favorite at all. Maybe I over analyzed it in my head and made the assignment out to seem harder than it actually was. That assignment was made into a group assignment which I thought I had to meet up with someone in this course and work as a group with them. That was not the case when I realized what I was actually doing, and by that point it was already too late. I was already with my partner.
I have to say that the HTML assignment was probably my favorite. With that being said though that assignment was a lot more detailed and time consuming which ultimately was its downfall. The result of the HTML assignment, however, was very cool. It showed me that I was capable of doing something that I thought I did not even know how to do. My web page was a very basic and plain page but after I got done plugging in the codes and everything I was very pleased with how everything turned out.
To be honest that assignment actually reminded me of when I was in middle school back in Myspace was the greatest thing. It reminded me of how everyone would go in and change the formatting of their pages to what they liked. The codes for that were exactly the same as the HTML codes that we used. I just never expected to have to use those codes again and thought it was really funny when I found out what that assignment actually pertained.

HTML assignment. I really wanted to post this because I was so pleased after I completed it. This is a very basic web page that needs a lot of work but I felt really accomplished after making this.
This course has bought me a lot within this short amount of time. It has taught me how to create a blog, create a web page, write out HTML codes, and interact with other people purely through technology. Going into this course I was terrified because I have always know that I am not the best with technology at all. The most I have ever used a computer for was to either socialize or for school work. I had never really taken time to learn how everything work and what features are offered to someone with a computer.
After completing this course I can honestly say I feel twenty times more confident about my computer skills. They are still lacking in some areas but I feel as if I am slowly learning and getting the hang of things. What I learned not only can be applied to work in the classroom but outside of the classroom as well. I know the basic fundamentals of creating a web page and I could do that facing some challenges later on in my future career with whatever I may decide to do.
